The New Year has arrived and the pundits and prognosticators are in full form. The air waves are buzzing with predictions that this year will witness earth shaking events. Climatologists and meteorologists have documented the upheaval of nature in 2011. It was a record year for disastrous weather. Their concern is that this pattern will accelerate in 2012. Strange winds blowing across the Pacific Ocean will have a global impact generating more cyclones and hurricanes than normal.

The so-called “Arab Spring” resulted in the murderous Muslim Brotherhood taking over the governments of Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Yemen, and Morocco. It is the first step in establishing an Islamic super-state in expectation of their coming messiah. Muslim imams are telling their followers that 2012 is their year.

Iran’s president continues to breathe out new threats to wipe Israel off the map. Military analysts are sure that Iran will have the nuclear capability this year to strike Israel, and attack US forces in Europe and the Persian Gulf.

The European banking crisis is worsening. Sometime this year, economic analysts expect the European currency to collapse. This will have the potential for creating a global depression. The Governor of the Bank of England predicted that the new year could witness “the worst financial crisis since at least the 1930s, if not ever.”

The superstitious are pointing to ancient, demon inspired calendars which predict the end of the world as we know it by the end of this year. The believer is aware that the devil was “a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him.” (John 8:44), but modern interest in this ancient demonic prediction reveals that the enemy is planning something big for 2012.

WHEN ALL THE FACTORS THAT BEGIN 2012 ARE CONSIDERED, THE NEW YEAR HAS BEGUN WITH “DISTRESS OF NATIONS WITH PERPLEXITY, THE SEA AND THE WAVES ROARING” (Luke 21:25)

Since the turn of the century, the world has taken giant strides toward the prophesied seven years of Tribulation. Prophecy watchers have taken note that the prophetic pattern of the Last Days has accelerated, bringing us to this crucial year of 2012.

Our Master’s instruction is not to be distressed, fearful, or perplexed when these things begin to come to pass. (Mt. 24:6) Instead, we are to respond to these prophetic events with even more diligence. (Luke 21:36)

THE BIG ISSUE IN 2012 FOR AMERICAN CHRISTIANS IS MUCH CLOSER TO HOME THAN THE MIDEAST OR EUROPE. THIS YEAR COULD BE OUR LAST YEAR OF OUR FREEDOM!

Our freedom to worship and proclaim the mighty Gospel of Jesus Christ has been threatened for decades, but, with the advent of the Obama administration, our fundamental liberty secured in the First Amendment of the US Constitution has not just been attacked, but drastically reduced.

Famed martial arts expert, Chuck Norris, a committed Christian, recently wrote an article documenting “the war” that the US Defense Department is waging against Christians. He wrote, “In the last six months, over a dozen incidents have transpired that document how religious freedom and Christian liberty in particular have been limited, quarantined, omitted, or outright obliterated.”

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton virtually declared war on all Bible believing Christians in a speech she delivered in Geneva, Switzerland in December. She implored the United Nations to use its influence and power to impose the Gay Rights Agenda on its member countries.

She said that “Deeply held religious beliefs are standing in the way of human rights for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered people.” She insisted that nations must pass laws that discriminate against and “offend the majority of a nation’s citizens” if they disagree with legitimizing homosexuality. Even news reporters were stunned when she stated, “Religion is not a valid defense” and “No serious argument exists against public homosexual behavior.” (The Secretary should read what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah, the Roman Empire, and the city of Pompeii for permitting sexual deviancy to become socially acceptable) Buster Wilson, a radio commentator for the American Family Radio Network said that the Secretary’s speech is more evidence that the Obama administration is conducting a war on Christians.

The Obama Justice Department asked the Supreme Court in October to give them the power to tell a church who its ministers will be.

The Obama Administration opposed including President Roosevelt’s prayer for our troops on D Day in a Washington D.C. World War II memorial. The government is presently on a campaign of historical revisionism which deletes all Christian activities and references from our history.

Since Mr. Obama took office, anti-christian judges have become bolder in their warped decisions against believers. The 4th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that prayer offered at the beginning of a board meeting for county commissioners in North Carolina could not end in “Jesus’ Name.” These judges issued a decision that sounded like it came straight from the mouth of the antichrist. They said, “A reference to Jesus Christ could do violence to the pluralistic and inclusive values that are a defining feature of American public life.” The lone dissenting judge said that the government is now in the business of censoring prayer.

As an American Christian, I am alarmed that in the last three years, our court system has been infiltrated with judges that permit Islamic Law to guide their decisions. A recent study from the Center for Security Policy called, “Sharia Law and American State Courts,” found dozens of cases in which the Islamic system has been applied in judicial decisions in our courts. Sharia Law is the application of Mohammed’s edicts which, under penalty of death, forces a society to be ruled by Islam.

The actions of the Obama administration prompted a popular radio commentator to say a few days ago, “We’re watching a dictatorship emerging now.”

The evidence is overwhelming that 2012 could be the last year of freedom for Bible believers in America. The accelerated attacks on our liberties prompted a veteran newscaster with over 30 years experience in journalism to say, “The government in America has criminalized biblical preaching and prevented thousands of churches and clergymen from practicing their faith without threat of penalty from the authorities. The Christian church, I believe, will be driven underground in America, as it has been in other nations around the globe. Otherwise, it will cease to exist in this land many firmly believe was founded by Christians.”

MANY HAVE HOPED THAT THIS YEAR’S PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION WILL PROVIDE A CHANGE IN THE COUNTRY’S DIRECTION, BUT . . .

The reality is that our political system is so corrupt and so fraudulent, an honest election is no longer possible. Former United States Ambassador to the United Nations, Alan Keyes, recently explained how the system is being manipulated. He compared the two party system in America to “owners of a rigged casino.”

Ambassador Keyes called the system “a sham manipulated by the elites who actually pick the nominees of the two major political parties.” He said, “It is the goal of the elitists to replace the twin party system and constitutional self government with dictatorship.”

The elites and their allies in the media have determined that former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney will be the Republican nominee, but a quick look at his liberal record reveals that he is no different from the president on social issues. He is just as pro-gay agenda, pro-abortion, and as anti-christian as Obama.

To make matters worse, he is a High Priest of Mormonism, who took vows in their Temple to implement the Mormon vision of America where the ecclesiastical authority of the Mormon church is combined with the power of the United States Government. Again, the goal is a socialist dictatorship.

THIS YEAR IS THE MOST CRITICAL YEAR THAT WE HAVE EVER SEEN!
